In the impressive mosaic of beauty of Montenegro there are 5 national parks as areas with outstanding natural, environmental and cultural values that have not only national but also international importance. National Parks: Biogradska Gora, Durmitor, NP and NP Lovćen Skadar Lake National Park Prokletije cover about 7% of the territory of Montenegro. Public Enterprise for National Parks of Montenegro, established in 1993. in Podgorica, is responsible for the protection and management of national parks, the preparation and implementation of protection and promotion of parks. JP is a member of the Europark Federation, international organizations, national parks, located in Graphene in Germany, with over 400 members from 40 European countries.

Prokletije

Prokletije National Park, the fifth national park in Montenegro was proclaimed in 2009. year.

Biogradska gora

Biogradska Gora is a national park since 1952. Located on the north-eastern Montenegro, between rivers Tara and Lim, in the central part of the mountain Bjelasica, coveres an area of 5650 ha.

Lovćen

National Park Lovćen covers the central and highest part of the Lovcen massive, surface area 6220 ha.

Durmitor

Regions of Durmitor, the unspoilt beauty of rare and authentic work of nature, were declared a national park in 1952. year.

Skadar lake

Vivid and in many ways unique Skadar Lake is situated in Zeta-Skadar valley, keeping contact with the river Bojana in the Adriatic Sea, from which it is separated in the distant past by a chain of high mountains.
